The department of Mathematics was established in 1995 with Mr Shekhar Choudhury as the founder head.The department has a well equipped computer laboratory in the department for students. Presently, the department offers regular and honours courses for BA and BSc Courses. The department has a library with a good number of books. The present head of the department is Mr Gopal Chandra Baro.
